Linzi Boyd is a businesswoman and business management speaker who has successfully launched, developed and sold a number of businesses. She set up her first business, a premium clothes store in Leeds, aged just 18, and sold it at a profit two years later. When she was 24 Linzi sold her second company, a successful footwear brand with seven global distribution channels, Caterpillar.
By 25, and with a self-taught knowledge of Marketing and PR, Linzi set up her own agency ‘Surgery Group’. Her business partner, Caroline Gautier, joined the business in 2001 and now they represent more than fifty brands at any one time.
Over its 15-year history Surgery Group has become renowned for creating exciting projects, launching brands into the market and helping to transform labels such as Pringles, Wrangler, Lacoste, Ellesse and G-Star using Linzi’s signature five-step approach as shown in her book ‘Brand Famous’.
Surgery Group has also worked alongside some of the most famous celebrities in the UK and, as a business speaker, she has attended numerous high profile conferences and advised a number of influential corporations.
