A former professor of economics and finance at the University of Paris, Catherine Lubochinsky is a recognised specialist in financial risk management and is often selected as a motivational speaker at key corporate events around the world.
Catherine Lubochinsky’s expertise covers a range of financial topics, including credit rating agencies, derivatives, financial regulation, interest rates, fund management, fixed income and credit spreads.
As well as appearing regularly on TV and radio where she shares her financial expertise with the public, Catherine is a member of the Scientific Board of the Association Française de la Gestion Financière (the French Asset Management Association).
She is also a member of the French think tank Le Cercle des économistes and of the European Shadow Financial Regulation Committee, where she is one of 15 professors with expert knowledge in banking, finance and the regulation of financial institutions and markets.
As well as holding positions as president of the European Money and Finance Forum and as a consultant to the Banque de France’s financial markets and stability department, motivational speaker Catherine Lubochinsky is currently managing director of research at the Global Risk Institute in Financial Services (GRI).
The GRI was set up to provide financial institutions, governments, policymakers and regulators with advice, information and intelligence on risk in the financial services sector. The body’s role is to carry out research into financial risk and to educate public and private sector organisations around the world.
