The saying goes that your school days are the best days of your life, a place to make friends, make decisions about your life and of course get an education to stand you in good stead for your future career. Sometimes, it can seem hard to find ways to motivate students to encourage them to be the best they can be, when it comes to school.

With expertise in a whole host of different areas, our motivational school speakers who can inspire a generation at every event they attend. Some of the speakers we can provide include:

Ade Adepitan MBE

Ade

A key life lesson that children learn at school is how to overcome adversity and go forward in life a stronger person. Someone who knows this more than most is famous Paralympian and inspirational athlete Ade Adepitan MBE. Born in Nigeria, when he was just six months old Ade was diagnosed with polio which saw him lose the function in his left leg leaving him unable to walk.

When he moved to the UK Ade became a highly successful wheelchair basketball player representing Great Britain at the highest level. Winning a bronze medal at the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens, and a gold at the Paralympic World Cup in Manchester, Ade demonstrated how despite suffering from a disability that could have left him with a negative outlook on life, he did something positive.

An inspirational figure to wheelchair users everywhere, since his basketball career came to an end he has worked as a television presenter for the BBC and Channel 4, covering sporting events such as the Paralympics and the Invictus Games. Also using his platform in the public eye to campaign against racism and discrimination, Ade regularly goes into schools to show children how it is possible to be successful even in the face of adversity.

Claudio Ranieri

Claudio Ranieri

There is no substitution for hard-work and if you set your mind to something, no matter how big, there is no reason you can’t achieve your goals even with the odds against you. This is something that former Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri is able to showcase during all of his school speaking events.

Best known as one of the world’s most famous football managers, he made his name in his native Italy before branching out to teams across Europe. In 2000 he was appointed as the manager of Chelsea but his four-year tenure at the club ended with him being sacked as a result of being unable to win a trophy. In 2015 he was named as the manager of Leicester City, a decision that at the time was criticised by many, but proved to be a fantastic appointment.

Shocking the football world, he won his first ever Premier League title, overcoming the biggest clubs in England and proving all the doubters wrong. Now manager of French team Nantes, Claudio uses his experience of more than 40 years in professional football to inspire audiences during his motivational school speaking engagements.
