“The journey is more important than the goal”… “Follow your own way”… “Live life with no boundaries to develop yourself” – just three phrases from the mind of motivational speaker Sébastien Foucan.
Founder of the worldwide phenomenon that is freerunning – he recently set up his own Foucan Freerunning Academy – Sébastien teaches those eager to learn that they will “find harmony and well-being” by “connecting with the environment”.
The motivational speaker says that it is never too late to experience significant changes in life. His experiences of freerunning – originally called ‘parcours’ in his native France – have taught him that people can realise their full potential at any stage in their lives and find out what they are truly capable of. He motivates people to believe in themselves and to have a clear vision of what goals they want to achieve.
Relearning and discovering a new attitude and philosophy are key elements of Sébastien Foucan’s approach that he details in his many talks and presentations as a motivational speaker.
Since becoming internationally known, Sébastien has been called on to appear in the video for Madonna’s ‘Jump’ single (and to go on tour with her), and made his big-screen debut as the character Mollaka in the James Bond movie Casino Royale. He then went on to play an assassin in the film The Tournament and to appear in promotional campaigns by such high-profile companies as Nike, K-Swiss, Fila, Toyota and the USA’s black entertainment outlet BET Networks.
