Anna Danes is a certified AI and Data Ethicist and consultant for Rhite and The Good AI. Through helping organisations embed systems and methods that ensure ethical and responsible innovation in AI, Anna is on a mission to implement standardisation and ethics within the core of emerging technologies.
Beginning her career in product management and marketing, Anna co-founded and served as CEO of Ricaris Have a Nice Day, assisting clients with website creation, content management, SEO translation and customer service. Since 2018, she has served as an advisor and board member, briefly acting as Ricaris’ Chief Innovation Officer, in which she anticipated future trends and market shifts. During this time, Anna also co-founded Managing Virtual Teams, at which she was also a speaker and consultant on change management, motivation and company culture. She was also the operations manager and chief of staff for Molina Visuals, a member of the ethics and responsibility department for OdieselA, an AI ethics expert with the Ethical Intelligence Associates, as well as an AI ethics associate professor for the Human Business School. Since 2019, however, she has been a freelance AI ethicist, helping to develop programmes that reduce the risk of unethical AI and working as a consultant for Rhite and The Good AI.
As a result of her professional career, Anna was featured on the 2023 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics list, a testament to her knowledge and dedication to ethical AI practices. She has also spoken at a number of events and panels, including the Arize Conference: GenAI Panel 2023, the AI Summit London: Data and Ethics Panel 2023, UNED: Ethical Considerations Education and AI 2024, Maximising AI in Learning and Education UK 2024, LEAP 2024, and, most recently, AI Frontline Summit 2025.
