Claire Brumby is an award-winning entrepreneur, best-selling author and internationally respected keynote speaker who inspires organisations and ambitious leaders to unlock confidence, clarity and high performance in a fast-changing world. Known for combining hard commercial experience with deeply human insight, Claire speaks with warmth, credibility and energy, helping audiences rethink what is possible both professionally and personally.
Claire’s early journey was shaped by adversity. After surviving a life-threatening illness, she channelled her resilience into building a business from the ground up. She founded Scrubbys Crisps, transforming a kitchen table idea into a multi-award-winning healthy snacking brand that gained national and international recognition in the competitive FMCG sector. Her hands-on experience across brand building, sales, marketing and strategy gave her a practical understanding of risk, reinvention and perseverance. Her appearance on Dragons' Den further demonstrated her courage under pressure and strengthened her reputation as a determined and credible entrepreneur.
Following her exit from the company she built, Claire expanded her impact by becoming an ICF-trained executive coach, NLP practitioner and business mentor. She is the author of 'The Winning Mix: Launch & Grow Your Food Business Without Selling Your Soul', a best-selling guide that has supported food entrepreneurs across the UK and beyond, and which was shortlisted for the Business Book Award. Her forthcoming book, 'Forget Normal I Want Magic: The 5 Rules of Leadership', distils her experience into a practical framework for modern leaders. Outside of business, Claire is an open water marathon swimmer who has completed an English Channel relay and regularly trains in near-freezing waters, embodying her belief in stretching limits.
As a motivational speaker, Claire is best known as the creator of the MAGIC Framework, a leadership model centred on mindset, awakening, gumption, intuition and charisma. She challenges outdated command and control cultures and champions courageous, human-centred leadership. Drawing on her lived experience as a founder, coach, wife and mother of three, Claire delivers honest, relatable and energising talks that leave audiences with practical tools and renewed belief in their own potential.
Most recently, Claire Brumby was inducted into the Top Speakers to Book for International Women's Day, a tribute to her becoming an empowering entrepreneur and businesswoman.
