Initially starting his career in advertising and marketing, Martin Butler worked for clients such as Nestle, News International and Playtex. Within a few years, Martin had become one of London's youngest advertising agency owners when he launched his own company in the 1980s, which he built into one of the largest privately-owned advertising and marketing groups in the UK.
Martin’s high profile work gained him a reputation as a retail specialist having worked in every market sector, from fashion to fragrance and from finance to food. Thus his company became renowned for boasting many high profile clients including Harrods, Burberry, Swarovski and Habitat. Now having sold his business, Martin has become a leading expert in his industry and is often asked to advise individuals and businesses on how they can improve.
With a career that spans over 30 years, Martin has worked with a variety of top international advertising agencies including the DMB&B, Grey and Saatchi networks. Having been born into retailing, martin is a hybrid of retailer and marketer, a rarity that he uses to develop and inspire unique thinking.
