Henry Porter is most prominently known for being the editor of Vanity Fair. As well as his role as editor, Henry also contributes frequently to The Hive covering subjects of British and European politics and is a regular columnist for The Observer. Politics have always been a pivotal subject of his writing, whether that be on home soil or in foreign countries. In particular, he is well-known for being one of the writers who supported the Liberal Democrats during the elections of 2010. He has written the titles of Remembrance Day, A Spy’s Life, Empire State, Brandenburg, The Dying Light, The Bell Ringers, Firefly and White Hot Silence. Henry has been countlessly shortlisted for awards, such as being on the shortlist for the Ian Fleming Steel Dagger and the Orwell Prize’s journalism shortlist.
