With a varied and interesting career, Michael initially started his career working at the NBC New York Studios before advancing to become a video production writer and editor. His career in marketing didn't really kick off until 2004, where Michael was appointed Marketing Associate at the Time Magazine. From 2007 to 2009, Michael worked for American sports magazine, Sports Illustrated, as the Digital Marketing Manager. Since 2018, Michael has been on the Board of Directors of Stance Socks and Papa John’s.
However, it was in 2011 that Mark Levine and Michael Dubin decided to create the start-up businesses Dollar Shave Club, as a result of their joint frustrations with the cost of razor blades. The company grew at an exponential rate, reaching a profit of over a million within just a year.
During his career, Michael has had the opportunity to work with leading brands from all around the world, including Nintendo, LG, Disney, Kellogg’s, Ford and Yahoo. As a result of his vast experience in the marketing and media industry, Michael has become a popular addition to corporate events, conferences and summits around the world.
