John Sitilides is a geopolitical risk management and government affairs expert who serves as the Principal at Trilogy Advisors LLC. Through his work he often explores convoluted geopolitical and global economic decisions in order to help organisations and people understand and cope with the risks associated with these decisions in geopolitically turbulent times.
Having obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Queens College, John went on to complete his Master’s degree in International Security and European Affairs from Columbia University. Early on in his career, John managed the Communication & Legislative Affairs for Senator Alfonse M. D’Amato. He then worked as the Federal Affairs Manager at AKT Development Corporation before becoming CEO & Executive Director at Western Policy Center.
As Chairman of Woodrow Wilson International Center, John tended to operations surrounding policy, research & forecast analysis on geopolitical and security issues. Formerly on the Board of Directors for Biovest International and 3doo Inc, John is currently a Senior Fellow for the National Security Program at the Foreign Policy Research Institute. He is also a member of the Association of International Risk Intelligence Professionals, the Intelligence and National Security Alliance and the Association of Former Senate Aides.
Owing to his incredible knowledge in geopolitics, John is often invited to speak in the media such as Bloomberg News, CNN, FOX News, CNN International, Newsmax and NewsNation. He is also often interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, Washington Times, The National Interest, Politico, and several other media outlets. He has proven his ability to simply communicate complex geopolitical issues in his TEDx talk "American Identity on the Global Stage".
