British doctor, television presenter, author and columnist, Ranj Singh is best known for being the resident doctor on ITV’s hugely popular magazine TV show This Morning. A fun and inspiring individual, Ranj has an infectious enthusiasm for his subjects that engages his audiences, leaving them wanting more.
An NHS doctor who specialises in Paediatric Emergency Medicine, Ranj has worked in number of hospitals all around the UK. In 2007, he became a member of The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health after taking a particular interest in children’s health. As a result of this, he co-created and hosted the Get Well Soon programme on CBeebies, which went onto win a children's BAFTA award in the Interactive - Adapted category. From this, Ranj’s TV career was born.
The only TV doctor who specialises in children, Ranj is the co-presenter of ITV‘s prime-time series Save Money: Good Health and has featured on shows that range from BBC‘s Pointless Celebrities to Watchdog. Not only that, but Ranj also appeared as a contestant on the incredibly popular BBC show Strictly Come Dancing in 2018.
Away from the screens, Ranj has provided his expert opinion on a range of subjects for national magazines and websites. Proving advice on a physical and mental health issues, Ranj has become a regular addition in columns for Attitude, Now and Family Traveller magazines. He is also the online health correspondent for NetDoctor, an online healthcare website offering advice from specialist doctors and healthcare professionals, and has published two children’s school books that help to educate children on the human body and the importance of healthy eating.
As an industry professional that is openly gay, Ranj has spoken out on a number of occasions about sexuality and the importance of equality and accpetance within work and home life. As a result of his expertise, career/life skills and beliefs, Ranj is an ideal speaker, event host or interviewer for corporate events, after dinner functions and school/university visits alike.
