Martina began her career in 2004 as a Graduate Primary Care Mental Health Worker, progressing through a range of impactful roles within the NHS. She built a strong foundation in mental health, working as an Assistant Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Studies Officer before becoming a High Intensity Therapist and Wellbeing Trainer. In 2016, she transitioned into digital psychotherapy, becoming a Digital CBT Therapist, later working with Healios to support children and adolescents. Her drive to make mental health support more culturally inclusive led to the founding of Black Mental Health in 2020, a platform providing culturally appropriate self-help information for Black and Mixed individuals. This initiative reflects her deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
