Fergus Crawley is a hybrid athlete, online coach, content creator and founder of Omina Performance and The Tenacity Podcast, widely recognised for transforming personal adversity into extraordinary achievement. Following a dark period of depression, Fergus rebuilt his life through fitness, endurance sport and mental resilience, becoming one of the most respected figures in the hybrid training space. Best known for his record-breaking endurance challenges, he most recently earned a Guinness World Record through Project TENacity, completing 10 Ironman triathlons in 10 days across 10 cities in the UK and Ireland. As a motivational speaker, Fergus delivers powerful insights into resilience, mindset, discipline and personal growth, using his own remarkable experiences to inspire audiences to overcome challenges and unlock their potential.
Originally pursuing a rugby career, Fergus’s ambitions in the sport were cut short after suffering three concussions within four weeks. Following the end of his rugby journey, he transitioned into powerlifting but soon found himself struggling deeply with his mental health, eventually attempting to take his own life. Determined to rediscover purpose and direction, Fergus channelled his energy into endurance training and personal development. He went on to found Omina Performance, an online coaching and community platform that has helped clients achieve thousands of personal bests through hybrid training programmes and one-to-one guidance. Alongside building his business, Fergus became known for taking on some of the toughest endurance challenges imaginable, including combining elite-level powerlifting with ultramarathons and Ironman distance triathlons, as well as completing events such as the Celtman Extreme Triathlon and Double Brutal Extreme Triathlon.
With a substantial following across Instagram and YouTube, Fergus has built a loyal audience by documenting his training, challenges and mindset. He also hosts the Tenacity Podcast, where he shares honest conversations about resilience, performance and mental well-being, alongside interviews with leading endurance athletes and inspirational figures. His achievements and story have attracted widespread media attention, leading to features with the BBC, Men’s Health and Edinburgh News. Through Project TENacity, Fergus also helped raise funds to support more than 10,000 potentially life-saving phone calls for CALM, further cementing his reputation as a passionate advocate for mental health awareness.
Fergus is hired as a motivational speaker because of his authenticity, vulnerability and ability to connect with audiences on a deeply human level. Rather than speaking purely about success, Fergus openly discusses failure, depression, identity loss and rebuilding confidence from rock bottom. His talks combine extraordinary physical accomplishments with meaningful lessons on mindset, resilience and self-belief, making his message relatable to corporate teams, sports organisations, educational institutions and wellbeing events alike. Fergus inspires audiences to embrace discomfort, push beyond perceived limitations and understand that growth often comes through life’s hardest moments. His story is not simply about endurance sport, but about perseverance, purpose and finding strength through adversity.
