Ana went on to serve in several of Romania's most influential leadership positions, including Minister for European Affairs, Minister of Justice, Deputy Prime Minister, Presidential Advisor for Foreign Policy and Strategic Partnerships, and Special Representative for Strategic Projects and International Relations at Nuclearelectrica. As Minister of Justice, she introduced landmark anti-corruption legislation enabling the recovery of assets from public officials convicted of corruption offences while strengthening judicial independence and the rule of law. She also played a significant role in protecting Romania's strategic nuclear energy programme, advancing international partnerships and contributing to the inclusion of nuclear energy within the European Union Taxonomy. Alongside her work on governance and security, she successfully championed Romania's first comprehensive Equal Opportunities Law, promoting equal pay and stronger protections for women and children.
