Anna Woolhouse is a leading British sports journalist and presenter, best known as Sky Sports’ lead boxing presenter since 2012. Trusted to front some of the biggest nights in global sport, she has become a familiar and authoritative presence on major live broadcasts, combining credibility, energy and deep sporting knowledge. Her ability to connect with audiences across multiple sports has established her as one of the UK’s most versatile and respected broadcasters.
Anna began her career in radio before joining Sky Sports as an ice hockey reporter, where she quickly demonstrated her adaptability and on-screen confidence. Her background in classical music played a significant role in shaping her performance skills. She graduated with a degree in Music from the University of Leeds and also trained as a Junior Exhibitioner at the Guildhall School of Music, developing the discipline, composure and communication skills required for live broadcasting.
Since becoming Sky Sports’ lead boxing presenter, Anna has covered many of the sport’s most significant events. These include headline fights featuring Anthony Joshua against Daniel Dubois, Oleksandr Usyk, Alexander Povetkin, Andy Ruiz Jr. and Wladimir Klitschko, as well as major bouts such as Chris Eubank Jr versus Liam Smith and Eubank Jr versus Conor Benn. In 2024, she presented the widely acclaimed Fight of the Year between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. She has also interviewed some of boxing’s most influential figures, including Anthony Joshua, Lennox Lewis and Tony Bellew.
