In 2005, Joe challenged and won the IBF Super-Middleweight title, earning The Ring and lineal titles at the same time and in 2007 he added the WBA and WBC titles to his collection. He is the longest longest-reigning super-middleweight world champion in the history of boxing. He later moved up a division to light-heavyweight where he secured The Ring World Champion title.
