He began his career as a Partner at Patton Boggs LLP, later becoming Special Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs. He subsequently served President Bill Clinton as Chairman of the White House Climate Change Task Force and as Deputy Assistant to the President for Environmental Initiatives.
Since 2001, Roger has led Green Strategies, Inc., working with major global enterprises to enhance their market competitiveness through modern sustainability strategies. Currently, he is a Venture Partner at Arborview Capital LLC, a growth capital firm focused on clean energy. Roger also serves on the boards of 8 Rivers Capital, Uptake Technologies, NetPower LLC, Clean Capital LLC, and the American Council on Renewable Energy, where he has been a board member since 2001. He is part of the Advisory Boards for the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Ingersoll Rand’s Advisory Council on Sustainability. Additionally, he co-chairs the Aspen Institute’s Clean Energy Innovation Forum.
