Jeremy Dalton is the Head of PWC’s Metaverse team. His role revolves around helping clients to implement virtual reality, augmented reality and other virtual world technologies. He is a globally published author releasing ‘Reality Check’: How Immersive Technologies Can Transform Your Business, an easy-to-follow guide to all things VR and AR.
Jeremy graduated from the University of Southampton with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. He started his career at PWC as an Assurance Associate where he was involved with year-end audits and the interim review of financial information for both the public and private sectors. Jeremy has progressed through several roles throughout his career at PWC so far. After becoming a Business recovery consultant, he became the Innovation Manager in 2014. Less than a year later, Jeremy transitioned into the role of VR/AR Specialist. He has also been a VR/AR Global Future Council Member at the World Economic Forum. As well as this, he has acted as the Co-President at VRARA (VR/AR Association) demonstrating his acumen and overall credibility in the industry.
Currently, Jeremy is the Head of Metaverse Technologies at PWC and has been since 2017. He specialises in aiding companies to implement virtual world technologies. Alongside his career at PWC, Jeremy has devoted time to being a Strategic Advisor and mentor as a specialist in XR (extended reality). As one of the top specialists in the industry, he has featured in The Economist, The Financial Times and The BBC alongside other major media outlets. Jeremy currently sits on the advisory board of Immerse UK which is a government-backed industry body that aims to develop the growth of XR. Jeremy’s book is used by businesses all over the world as a guide to better understand extended reality and the benefits it can deliver to businesses.
