Change, managing change and effective leadership are all key elements in Peter Davies’s approach to businesses, and he showed these in abundance when he was CEO of Air Malta for over three years. Under a €230m restructuring plan approved by the European Commission, Davies more than halved the airline’s losses between 2011 and 2013 from €78m to €30.9m.
Recent forecasts have indicated that it is on the way to making a small profit. In this sector Peter also helped improve the well-being of SN Brussels Airlines, Air Southwest and BWIA/Caribbean Airlines – he was CEO of them all.
