She completed a Master’s in Sociology and later achieved a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She has held directorships at organisations such as Nestlé SA and the Nelson Mandela Foundation, and currently leads the Industrial Development Group, focusing on mining and petroleum. As Co-founding Chair of the House of Mandela and Director of its Family Foundation, she channels her energy into promoting African heritage, addressing public health challenges, and championing women's rights. In 2022, she was honoured with the La Moda Veste la Pace Award by African Fashion Gate for her tireless commitment to peace, democracy, and gender equality.
