Thea Green MBE is a pioneering beauty entrepreneur, investor and brand innovator best known as the Founder and Chairwoman of Nails.INC. Widely credited with transforming the nail care industry into a fashion-led beauty category, Thea is hired as a speaker for her expertise in entrepreneurship, consumer branding and building disruptive businesses from the ground up.
Before launching her own business, Thea worked as a Fashion Editor for Tatler Magazine, where she identified a gap in the market for trend-led nail products and accessible beauty experiences. In 1999, she founded Nails.INC, growing the company into one of the UK’s most recognisable beauty brands with international retail success. Her entrepreneurial achievements earned her the Entrepreneurial Woman of the Future Award and, later, the Entrepreneur of the Year at the Woman of the Future Awards in 2010.
Thea’s influence within the beauty industry continued to grow throughout the following decade. In 2011, she was appointed MBE for Services to the Beauty Industry and also received the Retail and Consumer Award at the First Women Awards. In 2013, Nails.INC received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade, recognising the brand’s global impact. Building on this momentum, Thea launched INC.redible Cosmetics in 2017, followed by My Mood in 2018 and Holler & Glow in 2019, further establishing her reputation for trend forecasting and category innovation.
Alongside her own ventures, Thea has become an active investor and mentor, supporting businesses including XOXO Prebiotic Soda, Luna Daily, Dot Dot Bubble Tea, Better Menopause and Anotherway Ventures Fund. A prominent member of Buy Women Built, she actively champions female entrepreneurship and innovation. In 2025, she collaborated with Jo Malone CBE’s brand Jo Loves on the Paint the Town Red Duo and appeared on Holly Tucker MBE’s Conversations of Inspiration podcast. As a speaker, Thea shares insight into brand building, resilience, product innovation and scaling modern consumer businesses in competitive global markets.
