Viv Anderson

A stalwart figure in the Nottingham Forest team after the arrival of Brian Clough, Viv played an influential role in taking the side from the second division to winning the first division and the league cup just a year later. Called up to England in 1978, Viv’s form for his club had led to a wonderful season, combining his tackling ability with pace to provide devastating counterattacks.

Delivering anecdotal tales as a football speaker, Viv recalls his time in the limelight of football and the adversity he faced at the time. Moving onto the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United, Viv continued his run of peak performance, playing for England in World Cups and adding to his reputation as a reliable player with strong leadership qualities.
