Mark became a GP in 1990, after his studies at University College London and Westminster Hospital Medical School. Today, Mark is a GP at a rural practice in the Cotswolds and was appointed MBE for Services to Healthcare in 2005. Throughout his career in medicine, Mark has specialised in a range of areas, from anaesthetics and emergency medicine to paediatrics and general surgery. He has also worked in a range of special positions, such as Team Doctor for the World Rally Championships.
