Asif Sadiq has made a global impact as a diversity and inclusion specialist across both the public and private sectors. Widely recognised for his ability to reshape corporate environments through education and inclusive strategies, Asif has worked in senior roles at many of the world’s leading businesses. He has been honoured with an MBE from the Queen in 2017 for his services to equality, was granted the Freedom of the City of London in 2016, and is a highly commended recipient of the Head of Diversity Award at the European Diversity Awards. Known for transforming employee wellbeing, retention and performance through improved diversity, Asif is an exceptional speaker, often hired to deliver engaging and empowering talks that drive cultural change within organisations.
An advocate for greater equality from the outset, Asif began his professional journey as a special constable with the City of London Police. He quickly advanced to become the Head of Equality, Diversity and Human Rights, where he was responsible for embedding inclusive practices within the force, supporting both staff and the communities they served. His leadership extended internationally when he worked with the United Nations to tackle hate speech and crime, and nationally as President of the National Police Staff Support Network. This strong foundation in public service enabled Asif to transition into influential roles within the private sector, bringing with him a deep understanding of structural inclusivity.
More recently, Asif has been responsible for global strategies that drive inclusion at some of the world’s top companies. In 2020, he was appointed Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion for both Adidas and Reebok, where he led campaigns to create a culture of belonging. His success in these roles led to his appointment in 2021 as Senior Vice President of Equity & Inclusion at WarnerMedia, where he now serves as Chief Inclusion Officer. Asif also contributes his expertise as a board member for various organisations and has been named one of the Most Influential Global D&I Leaders by Hive Learning.
