Abundantly talented far beyond reporting and broadcasting, Sir Trevor McDonald has authored biographies for cricketing legends Sir Viv Richards and Clive Lloyd and conducted a live on-stage interview with the great Desmond Tutu. Awarded a BAFTA Fellowship at the 2011 British Academy Television Awards, Sir Trevor is also the former Chancellor of London South Bank University. He has also been appointed OBE and Knight Bachelor, commended for his services to broadcasting and journalism, and been awarded Special Recognition at the National Television Awards 2003.
