Graham has also covered the Winter Olympics of 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2014 and appeared in such TV programmes as Wish You Here, Ready Steady Cook, Through the Keyhole and The Gadget Show. The motivational speaker has skied as fast as 195km per hour or 121mph and really made his name in the sport in the 1980s and 1990s.
Having won the silver medal at the World Junior Ski Championships in 1984, Bell went on to ski for Great Britain at the Winter Olympics the same year in Sarajevo and then subsequent Winter Games in Calgary, Albertville, Lillehammer and Nagano. Known for testing his abilities and powers of endurance in extremely difficult conditions, Graham Bell once took part in the Arctic Circle Race, which is a gruelling 260km or 160-mile cross-country ski race in Greenland.
