Amelia Womack is famed as the youngest person to handle a leadership role in a UK party. At just 29 years old, she became the Deputy Leader of the Green Party of England & Wales. Now an EU Senior Campaigner for CHEM Trust, Amelia is passionate about the environment and sustainability and has made every effort to improve these sectors through her work. Having led a highly successful career so far, Amelia is one of the best speakers on sustainability and its importance.
Highly educated, Amelia possesses a BSc in Environmental Biology from the University of Liverpool and an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London. She then joined the Green Party of England & Wales as an MEP Candidate and London European Campaign Organiser. It was during this time that Amelia was involved in the End Ecocide campaign through which she aimed to secure changes in the environmental law that would protect the planet from long-term destruction of ecosystems.
Within less than a year, Amelia assumed responsibility as the Deputy Leader of the Green Party of England & Wales. Amelia has used her platform in this capacity to bring light to issues that affect the environment such as flooding or young people such as surging tuition fees and zero hour contracts. In 2023, Amelia took on the role of EU Senior Campaigner for CHEM Trust. Delivering a TEDx Talk "Inspiring Youth Participation in Politics", she has even been on a show with Piers Morgan talking about veganism. She is also the Co-Founder of Another Europe is Possible, a campaign that supports a progressive relationship between the UK and the EU.
A feminist in every sense of the word, Amelia has lent her full support to the campaign to make misogyny a hate crime.
