Some of the highlights of Ben's racing career include second place in the Marlboro Masters Formula 3 championship in 2000; leading the 2001 Le Mans 24-hour race in his first season for around four hours; winning the European Stock Car Championship in 2003, winning races in the 2005 British GT Championship; and several pole positions in the FIA GT Series with Ascari.
Ben joined the BBC2 TV show, Top Gear in 2003, and after seven years of pushing test cars to the limit, Ben left the show and released his autobiography, The Man in the White Suit. Describing his time on the show Ben describes the events and people that the camera often never catches. Throughout his racing career and his work with Top Gear, Ben continued a career of hidden notoriety having appeared as a stunt driver on Hollywood blockbuster movies including The Dark Knight Rises, Quantum Of Solace and Skyfall.
