His impressive county career has seen him win a multitude of accolades and team honours; Maddy still competes within first-class county cricket and is now an accomplished after dinner speaker and cricket speaker. With his International career a brief one during 1998-2000, Maddy found himself able to devote all his efforts into his county side, helping Leicestershire with the Twenty20 Championships in both 2004 and 2006.
