Ayesha Ibrahim combined her passions for sustainability and business to create her dream company: Honey Corn. Founded in 2017, Ayesha ensures the gender-neutral skincare brand uses only natural ingredients, and it has since earned a Bronze from the Free From Skincare Awards for one of her products. Honey Corn has been featured in the likes of GQ, Tatler and Vogue as a testament to its beneficial properties. Highly sought-after as a speaker, Ayesha has presented her talks on business relations, trade and sustainability to numerous FTSE 100 companies and governments across the world.
Upon graduating from the University of Hull with a degree in Human Resource Management & Marketing, Ayesha first began her career working for G8 Climate Change & Corporate Policy Report as a Sales and Business Development Manager. Ayesha has since gone on to gain an immense amount of knowledge in international trade and the development industry, developing a passion for corporate and environmental sustainability. Ensuring her own company has values of sustainability at its core, Honey Corn launched their Bee-a-Keeper campaign which encourages members of the public to plant seeds that bees will love. To match their ‘Cosmetics with Ethics’ mantra, Ayesha’s products are natural and not tested on animals, proving you can create an amazing company and products without harming the environment or animals.
Founding Honey Corn was not without its difficulties, before the pandemic Ayesha relied on selling her products at trade markets, but when the pandemic hit this was not possible. She worked hard alongside freelancers to build an online presence to keep her beloved company going strong. All of Ayesha’s hard work paid off as in 2020 she was crowned the UK’s Leading Innovative Entrepreneur and was shortlisted for the Small Good Business Awards 2023. Proving her entrepreneurial skills, Ayesha has since spoken to numerous FTSE 100 companies about entrepreneurship and business trade.
A passionate speaker who wants to inspire as many business owners as possible about the benefits of social and environmental sustainability, Ayesha has also presented unique talks to business leaders all over the world including the USA, Middle East, Asia and Europe, and has represented the UK’s Department of Trade and Business at several Trade Missions to countries across the world.
