Successful businessman Claude Littner made headlines as an advisor to Lord Alan Sugar on The Apprentice. Throughout the course of his career, Claude has led many successful businesses. He is best known for the time he spent as the Chairman and Chief Executive of Amstrad Spain, Dancall Telecom and Amstrad International, a number of companies owned by Lord Alan Sugar. Claude is also recognised for the significant role that he played as the Chief Executive of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and Chairman of Azzurri Communications. He has also formerly worked as the Deputy Chairman of Blacks Leisure Group, Non-Executive Director of Norton Way Motors and Chairman of ASCO.
Prior to establishing a global reputation, Claude began his journey in the world of business working in accountancy. Before long, he changed professions and adopted work as a turnaround specialist, becoming knowledgeable in corporate renewal and helping troubled companies from collapsing. Whilst working in this profession, Claude made acquaintance with Lord Sugar who then offered Claude the opportunity to join his empire as the chairman of several of his companies. From that point on, Claude has been fortunate to work at the forefront of the Amstrad corporation.
During his business career, Claude has developed a strong passion to create a better link between academia and industry, helping students to enter the working world after education. In recognition of his passion, the University of West London renamed their business school as the Claude Littner Business School, and today Claude works as a Visiting Professor at the University of West London and the Claude Littner Business School. Claude also continues to act as an advisor and interviewer on The Apprentice, working as Lord Sugar’s aid.
Today, Claude is frequently booked as a speaker for corporate events and conferences. Having formerly spoken for the likes of the Oxford Union and The University of Derby, Claude is booked to speak on topics such as business and retail management, strategy and planning, and share his story from the industry.
