At the age of 13, Jordan joined forces with his Grandfather who had been trying to hang a curtain rail in his bedroom but couldn’t find a plasterboard fixing suitable. Now, GripIt Fixings is stocked in over 5,000 UK stores and exported to 32 countries including the US, Canada, United Arab Emirates and New Zealand. Along with Meaden’s investment, Daykin managed to raise £2 million through crowdfunding campaigns to move the business into a 20,000 square foot premises in Wiltshire.
