Keren Elazari is an expert in the art of cyber security and security analysis, having founded Leading Cyber Ladies and written extensively on emerging cyber security threats and issues. Having formerly spoken at TED events, Keren is helping to shape global conversations about the growing role of hackers in our society and hacker culture. Also formerly a Senior Researcher for Tel Aviv University, Keren is now booked as a speaker for a range of public and private events on topics of hacker culture, cyber security strategy and innovation.
After securing degrees in History, Philosophy of Science, Computer Science and Security Studies, Keren began her working career as a NOC Analyst for AT&T and a Risk Management Junior Associate for PwC. After such roles, Keren began to pursue her interests in computer science and security, becoming an Information Security Architect for iTcon. Here, Keren was responsible for the designing of comprehensive information security solutions, igniting her passion for cyber security. She later went on to become the Operational Security Expert for Matrix, the Cyber Security Product Manager and the Cyber Security Business Development Manager for Verint.
Other prominent roles of Keren’s include being a Teaching Fellow at Singularity University, a Cyber Security Industry Analyst for GigaOM, a member of the Visiting Faculty of Singularity University and the co-founder of BSidesTLV- the largest hacker community event that has taken place since 2016. She has also authored a series of articles in the Financial Times, such as We Must Act Now to Prevent Future Malware Epidemics and How Hackers Can Be a Force for Corporate Good. She has also written for WIRED and been named as one of Forbes 50 Most Influential Women in Israel.
With a highly successful career in cyber security to her name, Keren is now a popular choice as a speaker for corporate and public events. Having formerly delivered the TEDx talk Hackers: The Internet’s Immune System and co-chaired the International Conference on Cyber Terrorism, Keren is a seasoned speaker whose talks have been translated into over 30 different languages.
