Catherine has worked in a myriad of industries including behavioural healthcare, childcare, media, utility, FMCG and telecoms, therefore her understanding of what it takes to run a business successfully is superior. Her first job was as a Nursery Manager for Childbase Partnership where she gained experience in creating a welcoming and relaxed culture. For her efforts she received the Nursery of The Year award, on top of staff turnover being less than 5% during her time. Catherine then moved onto the role of Organisation Development Consultant at PepsiCo.
An expert of global people processes, Catherine worked in roles like Engagement Manager for UK Power Networks and Head of HR Corporate & Commercial for The Cambian Group before she began working at Sky. Starting off as a People Involvement Manager at Sky, she worked her way up to Inclusion Manager and then Head of Inclusion at Sky. Her work in this capacity was key in Sky achieving the No.1 position on the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers list. She also contributed heavily to Blue Sky domestic abuse support and securing paternity as a gender equality initiative.
Conscious Inclusion: How to ‘Do’ EDI, One Decision at a Time, Catherine’s book is set to release in 2023. At her current role in Compelling Culture, Catherine develops inclusion workshops and inclusion diagnostic plans to improve engagement, culture, diversity and curate an inclusive culture.
