Rachel Morgan Trimmer is a neurodiversity consultant, TEDx speaker, and expert trainer in inclusion of people with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and dyspraxia. Rachel’s TEDx talk “Inclusion is Selfish”, released in 2022, talks about how accepting and including autistic people is something that every workplace can and should do. Through her neurodiversity consultancy Sparkle Class, she teaches organisations and their executives how to treat neurodiverse people, during recruitment and thereafter, without making them feel weird or out of place. Along with her team of skilled therapists, coaches, lawyers, she has worked with clients like BBC, MoneySuperMarket, the NHS, Manchester International Festival, Oracle and HP.
Graduating with a BA in English Literature from the University of Wales, Rachel started her career as an Editorial Assistant at The McGraw Hill Companies. She had also been a Content Manager at Brahm and Project Manager at Gapwork where she developed and wrote content, managed teams and several projects. In 2005, Rachel became the Founder and Managing Director of SugarCat Publishing – an internet publishing business, taking responsibility for its advertising model, financial management systems, and innovative online marketing strategies.
She is the Co-Founder of Neurodiversity Association and actively conducts talks, workshops and training sessions. Rachel firmly believes that no company needs a neurodiversity “awareness” course anymore, and that understanding neurodiversity is the key to working with neurodiverse people harmoniously. She is skilled at ensuring that no one is made to feel uncomfortable and is determined to achieve a world where neurodiverse people not discounted.
