Sharon Peake is the Founder and CEO of Shape Talent Ltd – an award-winning diversity, equity and inclusion advisory company that helps multinational corporations reinstate gender equilibrium. When Sharon hit a mental wall in her career in her 30s, she decided to go back to university, retraining as a psychologist. Sharon can now be booked for a wide range of events to speak on topics like inclusion, gender equality, change management and other related subjects.
Founding Member of Chief, a private network for the most powerful women in leadership, Sharon firmly believes that the world will be a better place when there are as many women as there are men in organisations. She is also a Delegate of the UN Women UK Commission on the Status of Women. Sharon spent the majority of her career working in various capacities at Reed Elsevier. She has been a Human Resource Manager in Australia and the UK, Head of HR Business Partners, Global Change Manager, Group Head of Talent Management & Diversity, Business Psychologist & Lead and Group Director of Talent, Assessment and Diversity at Reed Elsevier. She then served as a Talent Management Executive and Group Director of Talent Management & Diversity at SABMiller.
Sharon has obtained a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from the University of East London, an MSc in Occupational and Organisational Psychology from the University of Surrey, and a Graduate Certificate in Business and Personal Coaching from the University of Chester. She also possesses a BBA in Organisation Behaviour from Swinburne University of Technology. Sharon is particularly interested in empowering women to take up valuable roles in organisations, firmly believing that they are just as capable of doing wonders as men.
