Vandana Sharma left the Indian Army after 10 years of service where she looked after HR management, training, and development, for a career in the corporate world. With the experience she has gathered in the twenty-five years of her career working in sectors like IT, infrastructure, education, government, logistics, e-commerce, and startups, she is highly skilled and knowledgeable. Adding another feather to her cap, Vandana is now opening herself up to speaking engagements, where she delves into subjects like career-building, leadership, gender parity, female empowerment, and how to break stereotypes.

Vandana founded StartupPeopleConsulting in 2017 – a company that consulted startups on best practices for success. Since 2021, she has also been serving as an Adjunct Professor at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur, India. A TEDx speaker too, she has delivered numerous TEDx talks, namely “Follow Your Calling”, “Risk to Rise” and “Work on an Epitaph, Not on a Resume”. Through these Vandana is known to challenge stereotypical thinking and broadens her audiences’ horizons when it comes to assessing their capabilities.
