The former Chief Executive of the financial representative of Community Development Finance Association, Bernie is highly qualified and experienced in providing financial advice and facilitating financial development.
She is a member of HM Treasury’s Financial Inclusion Task Force and the Charities Aid Foundation’s Giving Forum, as well as an Advisor to the Commission on Unclaimed Assets.
Much of Bernie’s work centres on fairness within the financial industry; she strives to support small businesses and, during the recent credit crunch has championed the work of small banks and investment companies.
Bernie has also appeared as a keynote speaker at women’s events, including working for the charity Stand Up for Women explaining that she stands up for women both in her work as a UN, UK and International government advisor as well as in her involvement with various social enterprises.
Her experience in both the public and private sectors have provided Bernie with an insight into all aspects of the financial services and making her an excellent finance speaker for events in both areas of the industry.
