Business entrepreneur, qualified Physician and healthcare expert, Dr Leah Totton, is best known for being the winner of The Apprentice and Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment in 2013. Now the proud founder and CEO of her own cosmetic business, Dr Leah Clinic, Leah now uses her knowledge and experience as a businesswoman and medical expert to advise others by providing keynote speaking at events and conferences.
Northern Ireland born, Leah initially started her career in medicine after she graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2011. After getting a job working in the NHS, Leah went on to develop her skills in medical aesthetics, taking on training at Harley Street, London. It was in 2013, that Leah was given the opportunity to appear on BBC One’s The Apprentice, with the chance to win a £250,000 investment from businessman Lord Sugar.
As a result of her continuing success, Leah has previously been named as one of the top 10 entrepreneurs in the UK. Her business has also won numerous awards such as the Best Aesthetic Practice at the MyFaceMyBody Awards. Leah also regularly contributes to the Evening Standard newspaper offering her invaluable advice on cosmetic issues.
A truly determined individual, Leah worked many hours unpaid to get her business off the ground, as well as continuing her work at the NHS in A&E at the same time. She also worked tirelessly to overcome various adversities when setting her business, as well as fighting back against her stereotype to become one of Lord Sugar’s best success stories.
