Kim Blue, Chief People Officer of OpenExchange has had a celebrated career as a human resource professional. Kim studied Organisation Development at the Queen University of Charlotte after which she joined as an Employee Wellness Representative for ESPN. She can now be hired to speak at various corporate and public events on topics like change management, organizational development, diversity, inclusion and the future of work.
In her 15 years working to develop human resource strategy, Kim has had the opportunity to work with companies like Microsoft and ESPN. At ESPN her key responsibility was conducting wellness and fitness classes and ensuring 7000 ESPN employees feel supported. She then progressed to being HR Business partner in the Audio and Technology Divisions of ESPN, and then became Senior HR Business Partner for ESPN.
Leaving her role at ESPN for the role of Senior HR Manager of the U.S. East Region at Microsoft gave Kim a new experience that helped her grow her expertise - expertise that she now uses in her work as a speaker. Her career has seen her perform the roles of Global Head of People Experience partners for Zoom, Executive Board Member of The Black in HR and was an official member of the Forbes Human Resources Council. Currently, Kim is the Chief People Officer at OpenExchange and is responsible for imbibing a growth mindset within their clients.
