As the Founder & CEO of Wired Differently, she is dedicated to supporting neurodivergent entrepreneurs, business leaders, and organisations in creating more inclusive workplaces. Diagnosed as autistic in 2016, she brings both personal and professional insights to her talks, offering a unique perspective on neurodiversity, workplace equity, and belonging. Her ability to educate, inspire, and challenge conventional thinking has made her a sought-after speaker for businesses, universities, and global organisations.
After graduating from the University of Exeter with a degree in Politics, Sara-Louise began her career in hospitality before retraining as a therapist and coach in 2008. Her passion led her to specialise in disability and employment coaching, working as a Disability Specialist and Employment Coach at The Conservation Volunteers. Through this work, she developed a deep understanding of the barriers neurodivergent individuals face in the workplace and became a powerful advocate for change. This journey laid the foundation for her mission to reshape business environments to better support neurodivergent talent.
In 2022, she launched Wired Differently, a platform that provides specialist business coaching, workshops, and employability training tailored for neurodivergent individuals. Her expertise in leadership and entrepreneurship has positioned her as a trusted advisor for businesses looking to implement meaningful neurodiversity strategies. Most recently, she co-authored "The ND Lovers Club: How Neurodivergent Women Lust, Like, and Love", offering a fresh perspective on love and relationships through the lens of neurodiversity. She has delivered impactful talks for leading organisations such as King’s College, The University of East London, GEN-UK, Criteo, and the International Association of Facilitators.
Sara-Louise is hired because she brings authenticity, expertise, and a results-driven approach to every speaking engagement. Her lived experience, combined with her professional background, allows her to challenge misconceptions, foster inclusive workplaces, and empower neurodivergent individuals to succeed. Whether speaking on neurodiversity in leadership, workplace inclusion, or resilience, she equips audiences with actionable insights that drive real change.
