Former Special Boat Service soldier, Ollie Ollerton, has fought in war zones, survived the world’s harshest environments and seen the unthinkable unfold before him. Utilising his platform, having since become a well-known figure in the media thanks to his role on Channel 4’s SAS Who Dares Wins, Ollie has founded serval businesses that work towards improving an individual's mental and physical toughness. Supported by his own experiences of depression and alcoholism following his exit from the Forces, Ollie has harnessed the power of the mind through organic practices and now guides others to reach their full potential through his mental strategies. Starting his military career as a Royal Marine Commando aged only 18, Ollie soon worked his way through the ranks, taking on tours of Northern Ireland and Iraq, including as part of the high-profile Operation Desert Storm. Following a recommendation, Ollie undertook selection alongside 250 other candidates, and after six months was selected as a Special Boat Service soldier and later trained as a Special Forces Combat Frogman. From counter-terrorism to hostage situations and everything in between, Ollie faced extreme challenges requiring elite mental strength as part of the Special Forces. His post Special Forces roles included humanitarian missions and private security work in Iraq, protecting media personnel.
Having pushed himself to the limit both mentally and physically during his military career, Ollie, who subsequently suffered from depression and substance abuse, now empowers others with the tools to harness their full potential. As a Co-Founder of Battle Ready 360 and Battle Ready Fuel, Ollie has teamed up will fellow former SAS recruit, Jason Fox to deliver a program that strengthens the body and mind. Also the CEO of BREAK-POINT, Ollie has transferred his skillset from the military into leading training for corporate teams. Able to develop such skills as resilience, self-believe and peak performance, Ollie holds transformative workshops and keynote talks for businesses seeking to reach their full potential.
Rising to public prominence on Channel 4’s SAS: Who Dares Wins, Ollie is known for his role as one of the Directing Staff, alongside the likes of Jason Fox and Ant Middleton, responsible across multiple series for putting ordinary people through the gruelling SAS selection process. Having gained popularity on the series, Ollie has since published numerous books, including the Sunday Times Best Seller, Battle Ready and the novel, Scar Tissue.
