In the World Championships, he won a bronze at Daegu in 2011; in the European Championships he won a gold medal in 2010 and a bronze in 2006; in the European Team Championships he won two gold medals in 2009 and 2011; at the 2010 Continental Cup in Split he won a silver medal; in the Commonwealth Games he won a gold medal in 2010 and a bronze in 2006.
After he retired, Andy took to building up his body, going from a slim sprinter to a man with a stunning body, in six months he put on 10kg of muscle and around the same amount of body fat. He also forged a highly successful career as an Olympic speaker where audiences of many kinds have reacted warmly to his brilliant delivery of stories and anecdotes that amuse, entertain and inform.
