A pioneer of positive psychology and personal wellbeing, Robert Holden is a well-known psychologist and familiar face across television screens. Robert first began his career in psychology back in 1989, founding Stress Busters. A clinic as part of the NHS, Robert successfully ran Stress Busters for three years with countless healthcare professionals reviewing his services. As a result of his hard work, Robert was featured in a BBC documentary titled Stress Busters and thus began his credible tv reputation.
Five years later, Robert established another program channelling his passion for positivity. He founded The Happiness Project, again backed by the NHS, exploring the emotion of happiness over an eight-week period. Scrutineered by countless scientists, Robert’s erudite work gained attention from numerous officials and was once again the feature of a BBC documentary, titled How to Be Happy. Coined “a genuine fast track to happiness”, Robert’s work began to gain credibility and he is now widely regarded as a leading professional in the world of positive psychology. He has also created the DVD Dialogue on Forgiveness and authored the titles Happiness NOW! and Shift Happens! He is also widely known as the founder of Success Intelligence Ltd, a consultancy that provides leadership programs, and has established Loveability.
Another of Robert’s greatest achievements is being appointed as the team coach of the Dove & The Real Beauty Campaign. Here he coached various senior professionals at Dove, including Presidents of Dove Sylvia Lagnado and Fernando Acosta. Along with his team at Success Intelligence, Robert travelled the globe delivering lessons of leadership to the employees of Dove in locations such as Japan, North America and across Europe. He has also featured on the prestigious Oprah Winfrey Show and is now frequently seen contributing articles to Oprah.com.
