The Canadian driver had won plenty of races, including the Indianapolis 500, before he progressed to Formula One and he would have won in his debut Grand Prix if not for an oil leak. After several more race wins, Jacques took the Formula One Driver’s title in 1997, managing 10 pole positions and seven more wins in that year.
Ten years later, Villeneuve moved away from Formula One and started to race in Le Mans Series, NASCAR, TRV6 and Speedcar. He also went into the music business, releasing an album called Private Paradise.
Jacques is a brilliant motivational speaker and audiences love to hear tales of his time on the track in a huge range of different racing venues and formats. Villeneuve has a way with people and a style of delivery that hold listeners spellbound and ensure they go away with plenty to think about and discuss with others.
