Perfectly built for a goalkeeper – tall and with huge hands – Jennings has many stories to tell from his days at the top of English football when he helped Spurs to win two FA Cups and two League Cups. Pat even scored once in the 1967 FA Charity Shield!
Surprisingly, Jennings remained popular in the capital after leaving Spurs in 1977 and moving to their north London fierce rivals Arsenal, where he played 327 times until 1985. Between 1964 and 1986, Pat also made 119 appearances for his national team Northern Ireland.
Regularly winning the Footballer of the Year award from the Football Writers Association and the Professional Footballer’s Association, Jennings has gone on to make a name for himself as an in-demand motivational speaker. He can also be seen hosting many corporate hospitality fans at the Spurs ground in the Pat Jennings Lounge.
In addition, Pat is a popular commentator on the game and the media values his knowledge and experience as much as audiences do at private events and conferences.
