With British born parents, Robin Smith followed in the footsteps of his elder brother Chris and played for the England Cricket Team as well as several domestic teams. Retiring in the early 2000’s Smith has gone on to become a well-respected cricket speaker and television guest.
As a player, Robin Smith spent more than twenty years playing for Hampshire CCC, and since retiring often appears as the cricket speaker at club events. Remembered as one of the club’s most successful players, Smith continues to draw a crowd to his appearances and garners much recognition for his work as both a sports speaker and former cricketer.
