Paulette Frank firmly believes that healthy people need to live on a healthy planet, and therefore serves as the Chief Sustainability Officer at Johnson & Johnson currently. She began her career at the company in 1997 and has held numerous key roles over the years. Passionate about educating people about sustainability, healthcare, and actions that can help protect the climate and our environment, Paulette is available to speak at a range of events as a keynote speaker.
Ever since joining Johnson & Johnson, Paulette has been working in roles related to Environment, Health, and Safety. Today as Chief Sustainability Officer of Johnson & Johnson, Paulette develops environmental, sustainability, and human rights strategies for the healthcare company, ensuring that they are progressing towards a sustainable, resilient, and equitable future. Prior to this role, Paulette was the Worldwide Vice President of Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability, representing the company externally. As the Vice President of Consumer Sustainability, she founded the Office of Sustainability and was responsible for conducting activities promoting sustainability. There is no doubt that Paulette is as experienced as one can be when it comes to implementing sustainable measures.
Paulette has received a rarefied education, having completed her B.S. in Biology from Duke University and Master’s in Environmental Management and Environmental Studies from the Yale School of the Environment. Today she is an Advisory Board Member of the Yale Center of Business and Environment, having previously been co-chair of the same. Also the Co-Chair of Johnson & Johnson’s Enterprise Government Council and Supply Chain Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council, she was selected as one of Entrepreneur Magazine's 100 Women of Impact.
In recognition of her phenomenal work in the field of sustainability, she was named one of the Top 100 Women in Sustainability in 2022 by Sustainability Magazine. Recently reaching the massive milestone of 100% renewable electricity for Johnson & Johnson’s operations in Europe, there are few people as experienced as Paulette in the field of sustainability.
