With experience as a Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Kate has had a varied yet exceptional career, that has allowed her to receive extensive hands-on experience as a programmer and in product design, definition, UX and strategy. From her time as Director of Engineering at Google to her very first job as a Software Engineer at Microsoft, Kate has worked with some of the biggest technological organisations in the business.
In 2013, Kate started her own company, Popforms, a computer software that helps to bring teams together and individuals succeed at work. The company offers a range of courses and content to help companies train their employees to be better at their jobs. The company was a great success, and thus in 2015, Kate sold the business to Safari.
Kate has presented at corporate events and conferences all over the world, discussing topics that revolve around distributed systems, scaling, technology leadership, and entrepreneurship. She has become an incredibly popular speaker, and has even transferred some of her knowledge into the form of a book.
