Among his many accolades and honours, Kevin is a Chartered Engineer (CEng.), a Fellow of The Institution of Engineering & Technology, he is the youngest ever person to be awarded a Fellowship with City & Guilds of London Institute and he holds higher doctorates from Imperial College and the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague.
The Universities of Aston, Coventry, Bradford, Bedfordshire, Portsmouth and Kingston have all awarded Kevin with Honorary DSc degrees, whilst Robert Gordon University have awarded him an Honorary DTech degree. In 2004, he received the IEE Senior Achievement Medal, this was followed by the Mountbatten Medal in 2008 and the Ellison-Cliffe Medal in 2011. He was elected as a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts in 2014 and has been awarded The Future of Health Technology Award by MIT (USA).
